IEMA Approved Carbon Footprint Management Course:

An Introductory Programme

The aim of the 1 day course is to help delegates to start to calculate an organisational or product footprint. The course is ideal for technical staff, managers, consultants from a range of sectors, who need to know how to start calculating and reducing a carbon footprint of an organisation, product or service. It includes standards such as the Green House Gas Protocol and the latest standard on Life Cycle emissions of a product and service: PAS 2050:2008. It is an interactive course and takes you through the steps to help you identify carbon and cost savings within the workplace.

The course is approved by IEMA and you will receive a certificate of attendance which can contribute to your CPD.

IEMA Approved Foundation Course in Environmental Auditing

The is a five day highly interactive course and uses practical experience of environmental auditing, clear and easy to follow course notes, practical group work sessions, detailed case study notes and support from experienced environmental professionals who are registered auditors. It makes much use of group work on case studies followed by an actual environmental audit of a local company to provide valuable “hands-on” experience.

The Foundation course in Environmental Auditing will equip trainee environmental auditors with the basic knowledge/awareness necessary to participate effectively in environmental audits and other related activities. All delegates who have successfully completed this IEMA approved course will gain credit towards Environmental Auditor Registration on the IEMA Environmental Auditor Register.

IEMA Lead Environmental Auditor Course (Formely Advanced EMS Auditor Course)

This five day highly interactive course uses practical experience of EMS auditing, clear and easy to follow course notes, practical group work sessions, detailed case study notes and support from experienced environmental professionals who are registered auditors. The course is designed for individuals who wish to carry out internal environmental management systems audits or external third party assessments and has a particular focus on leading audits. Successful completion of the course and the examination (70%) will entitle the delegate to 10 IEMA points - the equivalent to Associate environmental auditor level. The course also incorporates an audit of an environmental management system in a local company to provide valuable “hands-on” experience.
